This place is a amazing. It's a small mom and pop owned shop, by the nicest ever elderly couple. Immediately I felt the great customer service leap out. The gentleman and madam we're both very kind and respectful. Made me feel at home. Now the food, the west coast bagel on onion was great. Sub the ham for the sausage.

Ugh I hate leaving not amazing reviews. But I really feel food establishments should let their customers know they are using microwaves. Call my silly but I don't believe in microwaves. I don't own one nor do I want to eat anything microwaveable. The bagels are amazing though but the breakfast sandwich with microwaveable eggs was NOT.
To answer the response to the owner: you should use a STOVE to cook your eggs.
Microwaveable eggs are disgusting and low cost and if I'm paying 6-8$ for a bagel sandwich it's not that hard to cook them.
Even McDonald's cooks their eggs on a stove -

Good bagel. First time here. Was surprised by the small amount of cream spread only on one side and the thinnest sliver of tomato for an extra $.50.
The bite was dry and hard for me to swallow so i went back with the rest of my sandwich to see if they could make it to my liking. I had hoped for an "Im sorry. Yes of course. Let me remake". Or something to that effect. At least an effort towards some customer service. But the guy said "you have plenty on there...probably more than normal".
He was at the ready to ring me up for extra $$. I probably won't be back. I prefer service not excuses.
Giving 3stars for food. 2 for service. If you want a sliver of onion, thats an extra $.50 as well. Definitely not a place with an abundance mentality. -

Closest thing to a New York bagel I've found since moving to California!
I went with my go to which is an everything bagel, toasted with lox spread. Bagel was toasted to perfection, had great flavor and texture, and the lox spread was a mix of smoked salmon and scallion - a little atypical but I love scallions so it was perfect. Price was just right. I'll definitely be back. -

Do I need to explain this? Why does your DoorDash photo and my photo of what I just received look like someone completely removed the lox? Oh because there's no lox! Rip off. And don't even respond and say those two small specs of lox equate to calling it a lox bagel. Shameful and despicable you would rip customers off like that.
